Relaxed newborn photography in the comfort of your own home
Our newborn sessions take place in your home so you can relax in the comfort of your own surroundings. We use soft and flattering natural light to capture the visual story of your baby's earliest days. Our style is unposed so there is no need for your baby to be a specific number of days old when you have the shoot.
Your session will flow organically, providing you with an opportunity to slow down time with your new arrival. Lead - and inspired - by your baby, We'll work around feeds, nappy changes and when they just need to be held and comforted. We'll freeze time on these 'in-between' moments and capture beautiful portraits of your new baby and the whole family together.

How would you describe your style & approach?
Our gentle approach is based by my own experience of early parenthood, coupled with 12 years refining my craft as a photographer and 4 years as newborn storyteller. Every photographer has a certain 'style' so how do you know if mine is for you? Well, if you hate the idea of posing with forced smiles to get the 'perfect' shot - we already have something in common. We are inspired by magical, once-in-a-lifetime, moments. We find them in miniature fingers wrapped around yours, how your baby gazes into your eyes as they feed, milk-drunk slumbers, moments of nurture and bedtime cuddles.
At times, We’ll give some gentle direction and prompts but we’ll also provide space in these moments for you to be yourselves - it is here were the most beautiful and meaningful memories unfold.
In everyday language, we combine newborn documentary, lifestyle, and classic portraits to tell your baby's story. Our secret weapon? The soft, natural light that paints our scenes, and when needed, we'll bring in artificial lights to brighten up darker spaces.

When is the best time to
have a newborn photo shoot?
We love photographing new babies of all ages and We are very flexible as to when the shoot takes place. If you long to capture your baby while they still have that fresh "newborn look", you might want to schedule the session for 5 to 14 days after your baby's due date. At this age you can expect your baby to sleep (and feed) for a good part of the session. This is just one of the reasons why we love to document these hazy, early days of parenthood so much.
If you'd rather give yourself a little more time to settle into new life as a family, then there is no need to rush things. As the days and weeks unfold your baby will become more alert and awake for longer periods; allowing us to capture more connection and maybe even a few smiles. Whatever your baby's age, our promise is to create a wealth of beautiful and meaningful memories.

Can we involve our older children?
Absolutely! During our time together We'll capture photographs of the whole family and the emerging bond between your new baby and their older sibling(s). Our sessions with young children are always very playful in order to create joyful and heartfelt family moments.
